Why should we hire an Event Planner?
A wedding planner has experience in the field & great contacts. We will take care of all the hundreds of details, leaving you to enjoy your wedding day. For some people details like the dress, invitations, cake, menus, music, lighting, sound are simple subjects to address, but for many the mere thought of it becomes too much to handle. Event Planners see the bigger picture & put everything in perspective.
What are the fees for planning an event?
This really depends on the type of event. For weddings we have a fee for Full Planning & On-Day Coordination. Please contact us to send you a list of our services & what this includes.
Can we meet before we hire you? What does it cost?
Of course! The Event Co. offers all prospective clients a complimentary consultation. Hiring an Event Planner is a big decision (for both of us) and we want to make sure that you are as excited to work with us, as we are with you! We can Skype, have a phone chat, meet for coffee (or a glass of wine) & get to know each other.
Does Event Planning include Decoration?
Full Event Planning includes your design concept. Once we agree on a concept we will send you a separate quotation for flowers & decoration. The cost of flowers truly depends on what type of flowers you choose, your location & your number of people.
Do you organise weddings in other countries?
Although we are based in Cyprus, we can plan your wedding in any country. Travel & accommodation are charged as an extra.
Do you have a minimum budget you'll work with?
It depends what is in your budget & also your number of guests. We've worked on weddings with budgets that range from €15,000 - €200,000 & everywhere in between. We can help you figure out what a realistic budget is for the type of wedding you want, or how to create a wedding you'll love with the budget that you have.
What is the timeline for planning a wedding?
We recommend starting the event planning process 6-12 months before, although we have worked our magic & organised a wedding in just 3 months!
How do you select your vendors?
By our experience! We work very closely with many vendors in Cyprus & we believe that great partnerships are the key to successful events. We work with companies that are reliable, professional & can acheive the results we are looking for.
Do I have to go through your vendors if I hire you as my planner / designer?
The short answer is, no. However we have worked hard at developing these relationships & with this we can guarantee the quality of the service. Of course we would be happy to meet with your vendors to ensure that we are all on the same page.
My reception venue has a wedding coordinator; do I still need to hire a wedding planner?
A venue coordinator works for the venue. Their job is to answer your questions about the venue & does not include all the other details that go into planning your wedding.
What separates you from other event planners?
Lefki & Tina, along with their great team! We will give you a one to one service & will be there for you through thick & thin to ensure a successful event. It also boils down to the fact that we will treat your event as if it were our own.
When is the best time of year to get married in Cyprus?
The best months are between May & October, especially if you are getting married in an outdoor venue. These months are usually dry however with our changing climate, we have experieced rain in the summer! There is good news though, it seems to rain only during the day & only for a short time.
How do we work together if I live abroad?
We work with many couples that live abroad! We will communicate via Email, Phone, Whatsapp or Skype. If you can schedule a trip to Cyprus before the wedding then that's great, if not you can arrive a week before the wedding (we have done this with many couples)!
